Greater Boston Roller Hockey League

Why Greater Boston Roller Hockey?

At Greater Boston Roller Hockey, we believe hockey development should be fun.
Our spring league give kids ages 6–14 the chance to get creative, build confidence, and fall in love with the game—all while playing fast-paced outdoor roller hockey with friends. Whether they're just starting out or looking to sharpen their ice skills in the offseason, this is where passion, play, and progress come together.

What do we offer?

  • A 5 week Spring League for players aged U-8, U-10, U-12, and U-14. This is a faced paced, 4 on 4, outdoor game format that allows players to increase their love for the game. See Spring League Details for more information.

  • New in Summer of 2026, “Roll to Rise” Charity Tournament.

Join the Greater Boston Youth Roller Hockey League's Summer Charity Tournament this August. Form a team with friends, compete in the U8, U10, and U12 divisions, and help support the Thomas E. Smith Foundation's mission to improve the lives of those affected by spinal cord injury and paralysis.

  • “I think roller hockey is truly beneficial for growth as young hockey players. I played just about every day growing up. It develops stick handling & creativity, as well as a love for the game. There aren’t many things I’ve done on the ice that I didn’t first try in roller hockey.”
